Journal 8.4: Best pop songs 2016

For the brand new year, we decided to dance on a different and interesting song. We couldn't find just one so we looked up Rajiv Dhall's 'Best pop songs 2016', that was apparently 'trending'. It contained the right mix of most of our mutually favorite songs and so we chose it without a second thought. Our choreography included a bit of some of the main western dance styles - hip hop, break, contemporary, freestyle. We definitely watched a few videos to get an idea of how to blend our steps together and add in a few moves.
We took time for this because it was different from our previous dances and learning the flow from one song to the other in the mash up with proper synchronisation also added on. Also, we tried new ways of recording and editing. This was the first time I edited the video of our dance and surprisingly, after experimenting with the software, it turned out to be pretty decent.
